Pretty quick afterwards. As we need to use the harddrives which are currently in MrBlonde it will be a full day of migration with 24-48 hours downtime.

P.s. the server price was 2050,- euros (cause we added more RAM), including VAT, shipping etc etc.

where did you buy it from? i'll probably be buying some new hardware soon, just wondering if it's cheaper to get it from Germany and pay for the shipping that it is to buy straight from the UK.

It comes from www.rect.coreto.de , but I am not sure if buying consumer hardware across the boarder is cheaper. In our case it's a bit more difficult to find proper server hardware selling companies.

Good news!

The new machine just arrived!

I will most likely drive up to the datacenter either tonight or tomorrow to pick up old MrBlonde. I will then migrate it to the new machine and hopefully be able to put it back into the DC on Saturday.

So, all servers hosted on MrBlonde(85.17.60.96) will be down for at least 48 hours.

Will this affect Freebuild or SMP for minecraft? If so..... How long? Besides the 24-48 hours to install stuff and switch over.

Not sure how long 48 hours take in your country, but around here, it's pretty much around 48 hours.

MC is located on MrGreen and is not affected.

The new server has been placed in the datacenter.

We had to reinstall the entire machine, so we're slowly bringing everything back up now.

Please report any (performance) issues you find.
