Well - the cover sure is glossy and what could be more enjoyable than moving the mouse over some hot chick's boobs? ;-) |

Actually, lately it´s been a swedish magazine called Äntligen hemma (finally home) which has to do with indoor design and stuff. (Since I mostly play during work, and work only has a large fucking calenderposter with "sensual girls" (aka random blonde whitetrash with eggplant nipples)motif.) If I´m at my place I use a 4D-steelpad that´s been around since forever. |

Currently I got a Logitech MX518, though a good mouse, it does not have the smoothness I noticed within the razer mice. My brother recently got a copperhead from racer, but the disadvantage of this mouse is the size... it is smaller then the mx518, and to small for my hand. I think the best thing you can do is simply go to a store and try various mice to see what you think of the handling and then buy one. |

Razer Copperhead, glows, can change sensitivity without interrupting your game, quicker response times in games, 7 buttons. (if you don't use 2 to change DPI) |

*bump* I want to buy a new mouse. The one I'm using now is a Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1a, it's over 4 years old and it's the greatest piece of hardware I have ever used. It's time I retire it though. I've been browsing through reviews but each model seems to be rated anywhere between 7 and 10, depending on the site, and some flaws are seen by some and overlooked by others. I don't like any of the Logitech models in terms of ergonomics. The Razer products I have to order over the internet and in my experience postal service is just awful so I'd like to avoid that. All of this leaves me with the following options: Steelseries Ikari laser (which costs a fortune) or optical (which I can't tell if it's any good from the reviews) Microsoft&Razer Habu (which seems to be flawed with various driver bugs) Microsoft Sidewinder (looks uncomfortable) Razer Krait Any suggestions? ![]() |

It has an optical sensor (laser fails imho), 1600dpi (just right, you wont ever need more than that) and the sensor is pretty good afaik (wont accelerate in any direction if youre using mid-high sens). If not that, get the Ikari optical mouse. 1st its cheaper than the laser one 2nd Its pretty much the same as the laser one exceot that its optical, and you can set anything between 1 and 3200 dpi on the laser one (eg 2476dpi, which is just unnecessary ![]() Habu & Sidewinder I wouldnt recommend from what Ive seen on the internet. Other than that, MX518 would be the way to go (or, if you like the Intellimouse ergonomics, Razer Deathadder, its pretty similar in shape and got a better sensor than the Krait). |

Yeah I upgraded to the G9 from a crappy broken mouse which didn't even have a name :/ Its brilliant, I haven't used any other gaming mouse so i can't say whether it's worth its price tag or not ![]() ![]() I'm currently on 2000 dpi, 3200 is just overkill but the mouse is so accurate and responsive I don't care if I paid more for the extra 1200 dpi ![]() |

If you're used to MS IntelliMice, then why not give MS IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 a try? I don't like Logitech mice as well (like I wrote before) although I accept their value... They simply don't feel right in my hand so all the technical details are completely meaningless in this case... |

If you want MS Habu, it's better to buy Razer Deathadder - it's nearly the same, and Deathadder is cheaper. Like for me Razer Deathadder is the most comfortable mouse ever and very good for gaming purposes. |

http://forum.specialattack.net/viewtopi ... 778#p55778Actually, I think these two threads could almost be merged together, considering how closely related the discussions are/were. |

So you had a bad luck. I don't have any problems with my Deathadder - everything works correctly, LMB doesn't locks up and nothing becomes rough. |

Yeah, I realize that Razer has meanwhile released much better products but they lost all my respect in this single instance where they rode on immense marketing hype targeting gamers (to which I sadly fell under the influence of fellow gamers who ironically encountered problems as well) - they may very well have good products NOW but their foundations are laid down on shitty overpriced and overhyped mice hence I don't like this company on moral grounds. When it comes to Razer I adamantly follow a "once burned, twice shy" philosophy. They would literally have to construct a mouse that gives me free blowjobs before I'd consider even looking at it. ;-) |

Who won't want mouse like this ;D . Razer's motto is "For gamers by gamers", so maybe they will do something like this ;> . Gamers wants some love too.
