Haha, I just watched the demo, and it's like watching a slideshow.
It's really bad!

We need a demo section where we can upload stuff :O
Make a SpA channel on Youtube :P
Don't know if a dedicated channel is possible, but that's not a bad idea. It could certainly gain some additional interest in the community
Yes a dedicated channel is possible, If saint has an account on youtube he can create a group.
Then there are some settings; who can become member to the group and who can upload video's to it. :4

Ahm, can anyone point in the right direction when it comes to demos?
I have no idea what to do, and can't really find any good tutorials.

I've used the demoui command, and the startmovie <name> avi command, but the movie file gets really, really choppy and the sound is just as bad.
Demos are in .....\Steam\SteamApps\<your steam id>\team fortress 2\tf
And the demos from the match are very choppy. Record one from the spa servers and you'll see a huge difference

I'll upload my demo in youtube in a bit. Stay tuned for the link 8)

You can zip/rar your demo's, and mail them to saintk@specialattack.net, i'll make sure they'll be attached to the forums so you can download them easy.
Make a thingie where you can upload your own demos through the forum interface! :p

Their is an interface, but its blocked for use to prevent excessive bandwidth load.

You'll need to place the demo in your TF2 dir, open your console, and type; playdemo demoname.dem

Ok then...
I use FRAPS to capture the video while playing the .dem in TF2. The output file is a huge .avi (10mins-800x600 resolution and the file was 4GB :o ). Then you can use a video recoding program to resize/recode it (i used windows movie maker...).

As for our game, they have seem to sorted out and find a new server, we'll see what the ping will be on that server, or else we'll just join ours, were we guarantee a ping not higher then 80, hopefully.

I used to play a lot but I stopped as the spy class is totally broken and unbalanced now (facestab, unregistered backstabs, ~80%health when you disguise etc). Moreover with the crappy fps I used to have it was very difficult to hit someone with melee.
Now that I get decent fps I tried once and it was muck easier

That was a bit of topic

the 80% when stealthed got changed. its now more random... besides you should get into the mindset of not relying on your disguise at all. Disguises work for 10 seconds at most :p just like cloak
