Quake live is a free remake of quake3.. which is a very old game ;p
I doubt anybody will have trouble playing this unless you live in the stone age (or early 90's)
And if the performance sucks you simply switch to full-screen mode, which is TRUE full-screen, not some "browser window stretching", as evidenced by the fact that Windows Vista turns on the 3D performance mode by e.g. disabling Aero etc. Then it should work for pretty much everybody...

PM me with the contact details and you'll be able to check it out for yourself - I still have 4 invites left and every new member gets at least another two so there's no need to be shy, Marmot - we won't run out of invites.

P.S. OK, I see that the problem was solved. ^^

It tells me that the e-mail address has already been invited. Too bad for ya.

By the way - it seems the beta invites are being reset all the time so there's even less pressure on using them up.

Yeah, I read that they would be reset every now and then.. but with the stress test in a few hours they really want a lot of people xD

I think he's talking about an activation mail for his account.. which should be there instantly as opposed to the beta invite which can take several hours?

Could be wrong though;

I'm getting fucked over cause I use Google Chrome.

This game can just go suck a nut........

I never liked Quake 3 anyway. Unreal Tournament was the business back in the day.

Sebas - anybody sent you an invite? If not, then I have some left.

Update: Ah no, I don't. Apparently they reset the invites after the stress test.

Yeah, I got mine back now as well. Sent an invitation to Sebas listing him as a "beginner" in the skill level. ;-)
