Quake live is a free remake of quake3.. which is a very old game ;p
I doubt anybody will have trouble playing this unless you live in the stone age (or early 90's)

it seems the beta invites are being reset all the time so there's even less pressure on using them up.

Did the first step for registration some time ago and I didn't get the activation mail...Hmm

And no, it's not in the junk folder.

I think he's talking about an activation mail for his account.. which should be there instantly as opposed to the beta invite which can take several hours?

I never liked Quake 3 anyway. Unreal Tournament was the business back in the day.

PM me with the contact details and you'll be able to check it out for yourself - I still have 4 invites left and every new member gets at least another two so there's no need to be shy, Marmot - we won't run out of invites. P.S. OK, I see that the problem was solved. ^^
