On a fluid site, surely just reducing the size of your IE/FF window solves the problem if you don't like it being too wide?
Keep it fluid and resize with that little corner grab

Size the fourm and fonts in em's that way they'll scale together and you'll beable to do a fixed fluid hybrid. personally I think the line length on most forums is far too long anyway so for preference I'd say fixed width. |
