Yeah as vogy said, its still an expirimental command, so it will only be recommended to be enabled on multicore systems once it becomes more functional (less crashes etc...). Try it out and if you receive a lot of crashes/errors just switch back :3

If I'd run TF2 on all settings on recommended I'd have around 20fps ![]() I guess "recommended" is more like "default" ![]() |

Is there something wrong with 20 fps? ![]() I guess "recommended" is more like "default" ![]() ![]() That's my average all the time. ![]() On frontier it the average is 10 fps...now that is really noticeable. ![]() |

im playing with ca. 30 Fps on high details .. but changing settings to low details just brings 10 frames more and it looks disgusting ![]() |

Yea theres no that big difference between high and low details, best change was to install d3doverrided which gave me 20-40 fps ![]() |

Well if its things such as texture details then no, there isn't, especially on most new graphics cards since they will normally have 512mb vram or more. |

Scout performance works like that: performance=skill x fps^2 x luck, but I agree about frontier, its just something wrong with it, you get 20-30 more fps on open areas at goldrush or badwater. Maybe chew-chew eats fps's while you ride it dunno ![]() |
