The first video in its original version is much longer and quite famous. Look for Super Mario Frustration. ^^

No, it's a ROMhack. There are dozens of these. The one in the first video is e.g. called Mario Forever. I have it. ^^

Hah! After some initial problems we managed to finish Metal Slug and The Simpsons Arcade Game with McMoist today! It was epic - Metal Slug is as good as ever but The Simpsons didn't age that well although it probably still is the best Simpsons video game (which isn't saying much ;-).

Another game that didn't turn out to be as good as we imagined was Spider-Man - it was almost a blessing that it desynced half-way through the second level. :-P

Yeah Metal Slug really is the business. It's just balls to the wall destruction and carnage. And the truth is I still think it looks great, even to this day.

I can't say the same about The Simpsons though unfortunately. It's just really repetitive and there isn't a whole lot going on.

Metal Slug is still quite awesome, I love it!

I've followed the guide for FinalBurn Alpha (haven't configured the other emulators yet) and I'm ready for some Street Fighter action as well! Or whatever cool games are fun to play.
Thanks Lim for the guide and the link for the roms! :18

Yeah - McMoist and I have this idea about a Street Fighter III tournament. Everybody could sign up - at least 8 players are needed. McMoist kicks ass so he will probably win but it would be fun anyway. I think we could use our Special Attack cup interface...

Small update:

I found a kailleraclient.dll that has BOTH a client-server and P2P mode, so you won't need to copy the files back and forth if you want to have the best gameplay experience OR play with e.g. 4 players.

I uploaded it onto my server:

http://www.codclan.org/kailleraclient.dll

The tutorial was updated to reflect the changes. ^^
