You sure? cause i can remember eating a sandvich being attacked by a scout and then it stopped half way through..  Well if i'm wrong i'm wrong and no harm no foul. But I can only go by experience of what happened to me

You made everyone sad for no reason because of a single observation.  I dont remember any changelog, I remember a spy shooting me for a minute just a few weeks ago, I looked it up on TF2Wiki and I tested it ingame today. Im pretty sure it works as always.
