Bucky's right, Absinthe does not give you hallucinations. Back in the mid 19th century absinthe was a lot more concentrated then and nothing like what is on the market today and there is no evidence that the levels of thujone that consisted in the absinthe then ever gave any hallucinogenic effects.

Well, I do drink sometimes...but I think you can't really compare one to another. Shure alcohol is also a drug, but not that hardcore as everything else in my opinion. But again, I have no experience whatsoever with that stuff, so my knowledge is limited. I just go with the general public opinion: drugs=bad. Oh, I haven't even tried one cigarette in my life, just to show you how little I care about drugs.

Ask any drug taker if they think alcohol is a hard drug, they'll probably all tell you it is, at least the sane one's with brains left. The only drug takers that'll deny that are most likely alcoholics themselves and don't wanna admit it.

A little update for you all, if you give a fuck. Feeling a bit more human now. I still feel sick occasionally. I had work on Tuesday and, in all fucking honesty, I struggled! I would be fine for a bit when working then, as I do nothing, I feel extremely dizzy and sick. I felt a lot better as the day went on and managed to get to the pub for a few, followed by a kebab. I don't know why I am telling you all this as if it was my first time taking chemicals. Those who know me on here from the past will know that I am no stranger to drugs and that I used to take them quite frequently. I am putting this down to it being my first time getting seriously wasted in quite a long time, plus over doing it. I don't normally get comedowns, and when I do, it's nothing like this. This has felt like the first time I ever done drugs... illegal drugs. Just so you know, the reason why I felt like this when I first done illegal drugs was because the first time I done them, in one weekend, I done around 30 ecstasy pills. Anyway, moving on...

So far in this thread we have learned: 1. Some drugs sold in the UK are good, but not as good as they used to be. 2. Or for that matter as good as drugs that aren't in the UK. 3. Hallucinogenic absinthe is a lie perpetuated by misinformation and the bohemian French artists. 4. Alcohol is worse than loads of drugs but its perceptively cheaper in the UK than some places. 5. Sperm is no substitute for soy sauce.
