Is the stat system working correct on that map?

I was wondering because lots of people lost stat points, and i had 10-2 kills and still lost points on that map. :)

Playing sniper/spy is bad for your stats - most of the time you will loose stat points. You need to play medic to gain quick rank points :ugly:

Na , i normally gain points with that ratio even if only a few, also i played scout this morning when checking that. :)
People might lose points on the map because most go for the achievements, but still with a good ratio especially if over average points should not drop.
Have checked for some other players i saw playing and all i saw have lost stat points on the map.
Not a thing to worry about if the map stays only for halloween anyway. :)

Kills per death is not how the stats work though, it depends who you kill (And maybe what weapon you kill them with? I always find it harder to go up in points as sniper). If I went on in the morning and played against the people who aren't regulars, then I could get a 10-1 kpd and still lose points. Just keep on killing people in the top 10 if you want to gain stat points ;)

That would explain something, the two times i got killed have costs me more points then i got by killing them 10 times. :)

Not really encouraging then, to join the server again if only unknown people are playing :)

Not really encouraging then to stop ubers with airblast, to block enemy fire when protecting a sentry, etc.

Thats why you should ignore the stats before you turn into a worse player with higher "skill". :18

That's why the stats are flawed, but some people use them to keep track of them and personally, I like to look at the map statistics and stuff.

I was actually looking at some today, and saw a rather funny bug in the statistics of dustbowl: http://stats.specialattack.net/map.php?id=6

I thought it was a bit strange Ilpoto having that high a value compared to others, then I looked on his stats account and there is a bug tracking his stats on dustbowl :P 16.27 kills per minute :D

if it's dead it's because people aren't doing mass invites of their friends list.

seriously, most people are fine with the plugin, just get a few invites sent and you'll have the place filled in no time.

Well there wasnt a good melee sunday since the plugin was introduced - before that there were a lot of random players joining, shooting rockets and then enjoying melee, now its far to limited to enjoy meleeing.
