bumped cos this is the place to talk about setups, it would seem Fast Classic, my old favourite setup which still rocks Favela MP5K (<3) w/ silencer USP. 45 w/ silencer Marathon Lightweight Commando Fast New, based on a setup that slayer was using which is a great mix of precision over distance, speed, killing ability, deadly spray at short range and a HUGE cartridge for the reload time (that never gets used up anyway cos the other guy is dead way before then  )P90 w/silencer + red dot sight USP. 45 w/ silencer Bling Stopping Power Steady Aim Assault, idk, only works when I'm in the mood for... not camping exactly, but taking it more slowly. it still feels kinda messy. SCAR-H w/ silencer+red dot sight USP. 45 w/ silencer Bling Stopping Power Steady Aim and some random classes for launcher and riot shield (has the repeater shotgun thing as secondary) I've got the pistol as my secondary in hope of unlocking the tactical knife, but it's taking forever :/ and my equipment keeps changing, it's usually semtex or claymore but I can't seem to get much out of either of them. maybe C4 will serve me better |

Stoppin power irrelevant on hardcore, ump or mini-uzi is much better than mp5 or p90, as for assault rifle Scar is great for lower levels, then either m16 or ACR, basic on whether you like burst or fullauto firing mode. Ninja(pro) always best perk for slot3, second slot either cold-blooded or hardline. Based on our experience with hardcore game modes. |

the mp5k is my baby and I'm never swapping it for anything <3unless this mini uzi turns out to be something pretty special. but I'm skeptical at best :p will probably swap out stopping power on my assault class once I get the ACR. might also consider swapping bling for scavenger and just get used to not having a red dot sight, but we'll see. dunno bout ninja; it doesn't act as a silencer replacer (covers up for you on the minimap if you shoot without a silencer), does it? Scatter you will bloody love it, that gun makes me wet! UMP is probably the best SMG imo, almost feels like the MP5 from COD4 (arguably the best weapon), whereas the MP5k doesn't feel anything like it. And as for perks. My main line up is; Fast hand of pro (faster ads and reloading - does really make the difference) Cold Blooded Pro Ninja Pro - plus i have a silenced secondary weapon for all the stealth kills and i just have a dot sight on the acr so that they wont hear me coming until i start the fireworks ^^ true story

My new setup for long distance map that performs brilliantly and does not involve using sniper rifle: Primary: Fal + Acog sight + silencer secondary: whatever you like, I love the magnum Perks 1) Bling pro 2) Cold blooded 3) Ninja pro Of course this is for hardcore only, where FAL usually kills with 1 shot Once you get used to using ACOG you can snipe far better than semi-automatic sniper rifles - it has far less recoil, larger clip and kills with 1 shot, so unless you want to sniper across whole map I really recommend it. Made a chopper gunner last 2 times I played wasteland with that setup. |

i use the ACOG on my sniper rifle M21 EBR and it becomes almost like an assault rifle, plus i dont have to use shift to keep it still, sure you loose distance but not much. |

If youre using acog FAL is better than m21 mainy because it is an assault rifle that handles like a sniper rifle, and this setup + harrier and chopper gunner gave me my first 2 nukes in mw2 - actually got 2 nukes in 3 maps, but mainly due to absolutely shit clan me and ditch were playing against in headquarters. |

Yep Im bored too but enjoy mw2 ( really only game I enjoy now, apart from Fifa10 multiplayer on xbox ) a lot. 2 more nukes launched yestarday, so only 1 left to complete a challenge

I strongly recommend to backup whole players folder from mw2 - hacking is really out of control now, there are hacked servers, that can gain you millions xp's at once or RESET your rank back to first by just killing one hacked host, dont know which game modes are more likely to join hackers, but better to be safe

the whole reason why I am not playing online at this moment! I hope but have little trust IW fix this soon or give dedicated servers

I dont really think this game can be converted easily into supporting dedicated servers as we are familiar with - I would love to see this happen, but I think its not possible  They just need to do sth about modifying the game code so deeply - ok VAC is shite, but if you see hacker with aimbot/wallhack just leave, but people can now do so much more - not only texture hacks, hacked servers that allows host to do anything he wants with the game including mess your rank completely, but also playing cracked version on steam with other people, latest thing that started on ps3 is the ability to modify your custom classes, so you can put up to 6 perks (!!!) at once - you can insert perks into all slots including grenades, equipment or even death streaks  Look at xp gained   Most worrying fact is, that IW makes some ridicolous updates, that stop hacks for like 10 minutes before someone rewrites the code or remakes hacks, and people keep loosing their ranks playing games deeply modified by some fags. I dont remember any multiplayer game, that would be so easy to hack into basic gameplay settings. |

Cheers for the advice bart, all backed up, but to be fair, i cant be arsed to prestige so what would i really loose?! can't understand hackers, i simply can't understand their drive other than to annoy. If i see a hacker ill try my best to kill them as much as possible, they can't all be neo. |
