Yeah, I'm not writing some sort of House or ER Graphic Novel or anything. The stuff that I'm asking Amyl help with are minor parts of the story and don't even have to be that involved in the first place. All I really want is to add an air of authenticity to the text. It's not Medically focused. Just focuses on human biology sometimes. |

I would, but I have to tell you, I'm really not loving all the Vampire stuff that's floating around right now. It seems like popular media is saturated with the bastards. It would be cool if you could compile together some questions and see if you could ask a hospital , almost like a questionnaire. Also , Ive just written a short script on an adaptation of true blood, would you mind reading it for me? it isnt perfect, but i do value your opinion sir In fact, I was writing a story myself focused on the exploits of a transient Vampire living in Glasgow, and so disgusted with myself was I that I was doing so, that I simply abandoned it. If anybody had compared it to Twilight simply cause it had a Vampire in it, I would have been forced into a wee spot of Murder-Suicide. [SpA]sebas wrote:

Ah well , this isnt because I wanted to. Its my next assessed piece and it had to be a narrative adaptation of a television Drama. True Blood seemed like an appropriate choice because compared to a lot of recent dramas , I can recreate similar shots, narrative and action at minor cost. |

Agreed, twilight can go suck monkey balls, the hacks! id rather watch my family be tortured .... then again, that would probably involve them being sat in front of the tv watching twilight with their eye lids sowed open to the sofa. Guess what thou moist, there is another vampire vs werewolf film coming out soon! i forget what it is called, but honestly, can you blame me!?! and being human can shove itself up its own arse again too, stupidest idea, would have preferred it if they turned it into an American style sitcom, with canned laughter and crazy situations. The TV and Film industry is downing in Hacks. |

I wasn't ragging on your decision or nothing mate. There's not a great wealth of choice out there right now anyway. Its my next assessed piece and it had to be a narrative adaptation of a television Drama. True Blood seemed like an appropriate choice because compared to a lot of recent dramas , I can recreate similar shots, narrative and action at minor cost. Although, was it specified that the Television Drama you adapted had to be contemporary? [SpA]ProtectMyBalls wrote: The TV and Film industry is downing in Hacks.

The drama had to be of something which would agree with the group i work with, True Blood was something the majority enjoyed and so the decision was made. To be Honest, I dont care about the fact that it is true blood , I can still create an excellent piece of footage so its not a problem for me |

I'm writing a piece on the creation, survival and continued existence of sources for the academics, their historiographical changes in debates, views, uses and abuses of sources since the 12th century to the modern day; with a focus on the revolution of archives, the totalitarian nature of archivist processes and the political and social influences on the voices and silences of history. But I thought If I included moar vampires it would get read more in the contemporary climate. |
