Sorry to necro this old thing but I have put up with windows 7 now, amazing how something so minimalistic can be so full of shit. It's all trendy and ikky, keep shoving silly libraries and bloatware in my face and I don't like it, I didn't like vista either, I want my recent documents and that little sound recorder back where you could reverse and change the speed of the voice

Gonna give it a chance but I quite like the start menu and features that Saint linked. I've put the taskbar back into tab mode, I specifically bought a pc so it had no resemblance to a mac. It's sad seeing interfaces being constantly minimalized until they're just arkward trendy things. Is there any decent taskbar downloads out there I can get my mits on? aah I feel good after a piss and moan

I quite like it now too. Now that I've customized it to my taste and got used to it, it doesn't feel so bad anymore. I do still have XP on my spare HDD just incase, but tbh I don't think I need it anymore.

Well he can't tell me I'm wrong in disliking it I'm a user and I don't enjoy the interface, and I don't know about anyone else, but I never had to get use to xp, or give it a chance, it was simple and functional, the interface that is, can't say much for the rest of it.
