The new V was slow to start but makes up for it towards the end, Flashforward just kept getting better so it's a shame it didn't get a second season, fringe is ok. The West Wing is one of the greatest shows ever (although not sci-fi). If you like the writing of Joss Wheedon then check out Firefly shame it stopped so quickly. I want to watch Pacific as I still love Band of Brothers, and have just watched Season 1 of Mad Men which is OK (again, not sci-fi). |

I'm on season two of Life now, its pretty cool so far, interesting story, characters and all that jazz http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0874936/ the trailer on imdb does not do the show justice at all; it's a poorly made trailer, very cheesy american style... |

Is it more or has this series so far been a bit... wierder? Like they wanna play on the surreal comedy often seen with like the mighty boosh - While the last few series have been more borderline realistic/ludicrous? Not that I dont like it, just wanted to see if anyone else noticed it? |

Yeah. Tbh, cancellation of shows is completely down to marketing bureaucratic load of crap Knowing the right ppl, having done the right PR campaigns, etc. etc. Heroes got canceled because it got too expensive. Quote: NBC announced the show's cancellation on May 14, 2010,[9] due to the high costs of production, diminished viewing and an increase in other programming.[10] Afterward, the network considered making a television special event to better wrap up the series;[11][12] however, on September 9, 2010, NBC announced the decision not to pursue any further development of the Heroes franchise. Tim Kring then suggested that the broad premise of Heroes' storylines allowed for the franchise to return for fans, but he did not specify when or in what media format.[13]
Season 1 : 13.86 Million viewersSeason 2: 11.46 Season 3: 7.61 Season 4: 6.54 They did try to put a genuin ending on it, but tbh, season 3 was that crap, they should've just put their heads together and not have flopped that bad on season 3. Anyway, tough luck. Only way to get this show on the road again is pumping billions in it, so , who's gonna win a few lottos? Rubicon: Quote: The series debuted on AMC on August 1, 2010[1] as a two-hour, two episode block. With two million viewers, the August 1 premiere set a record as the most watched debut of an AMC original series at that time.[2]
Now tell me this ain't a load of bureaucratic shit?AMC canceled Rubicon on November 11, 2010[4], stating that the show was "an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story, and we’re proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team.â€[5][6] There's a lot to which stations gets to buy rights for what programs for what prizes, air time and dates, marketing.... blah blah blah. I always hope for a nutcase billionair pumping idiotic amounts of money in a show like life just because he liked watching it and wants to continue that |

yeah, entourage was almost cancelled after that hault during the writers strike.. but even though it returned, it came back damaged i thought, i started hating the characters more and more rather than being behind them... that has something to do with the storylines around vincent and was intended but still, i entourage still has one thing going for it... laydays |

Friday Night Lights, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Treme, The Wire, Luther, The Walking Dead, The West Wing, Sports Night, The Thick of It, Dr Who (it was really good then they axed it), My Boy Jack, Downton Abbey, Bleak House, Though my fluffy nature may betray it I fucking love Pride and Prejudice Emma Sense and Sensibility Persuasion And despite what Balls says Lost. I really try to stay awy from TV as I find about 95% of it to be so poorly writen acted and directed that it should never have been green lit. I honestly can't watch Entourage but then there are a lot of comedies that; 1. I don't find funny 2. hate every single character in and 3. hate the scenario, and Hollywood wankers was bound to get me annoyed. [SpA]Bucky wrote: Yeah. I kinda like season 1 despite the fact the Alan Moore could have sued for stealing the story to watchmen. Season 2's writing was so bad that they even managed to forget the plot points they'd already resolved by the end of season 1, it just got worse and worse until it deserved cancelling.
