Played 3 of the maps, gotta say its good fun. Looking forward to actually playing it with some people i know though cause it'll probably make it better :5:

Nothings more fun than igniting your very very low health ally from the door of the last room with your mighty flamethrower, giving you a nice bullettime while he dies and you win. :lol:

Also hornet missiles! Missile spam ftw!

Yes, the achievement is one of the first you will get and todays update added it in TF2.
The pyros version of the hat seems to be different, being across the face instead of ontop the head. :mrgreen:

Never really played anything like this before...
Looks to me like a sci-fi version of Diablo, which could be cool I suppose.
Don't expect much out of it, but it's free, can't hurt to try it out ;P

Level 20 here, it's fun, but i want more campaign maps. It's only 1 with 7 missions.

Yes its a lot of fun playing with good players, we had great run, got to last mission on hard, then staberas and gibboss left :/ 2 random players joined, we were close to the end and we lost cause 2 morons got infected with parasites and I didnt have enough medigun ammo :/

Yeah sorry about that. My comptuer went tits up on me and decided to reset itself, repeatedly, it seems be working again now.

I also had some strange crashes in alien swarm :/ Too bad hat is so easy to get - it takes like 10 minutes to beat 2 missions on easy. Personally would rather see the hat rewarded for completing campaign on insane in coop. We tried insane once, and got slaughtered in like 3rd room in 1st mission :ugly:

Just finished it. Ran through it with my brother on Easy; we started on Normal but on Deima (third mission) it proved to be too tough with only 2 marines so we eventually lowered it after dying a few times. He were the medic and I were the technician so if I'd die we had to restart the whole mission. Funnily enough he died on Deima about halfway through (a bit before the segment when the ship helps you) but I managed to survive and made it to the end... with about 10% health left. :mrgreen:

Anyway, fun game but with only about 2 hours of gameplay and one campaign it's definitely a bit short. But it's free so what the hell.

Put -console in launch options (steam > libary > rightclick game > properties > set launch options)

Now run the game and type this is your console.

Places a fast reload bar under your actual marine so you don't need to look in the corner to time your reload.

This is why they have the user friendly map editor - so the community will start making the next campaigns.

Played the campaign a couple of times last night, pretty fun, have to get used to the perspective a bit more, and maybe pick a different class, people always run in the way of the mini gun lol ^^

Seeing that most people on the game are actually stupid enough to rush facehumpers I went medic, kinda like it :)

And sometimes you have no chance of getting away. So a medic IS nessesary to the game.

You just brought back memories of being dragged around garden centres as a kid, and hiding in shed's in an effort to lose my parents and scare the shit out of my sister.

Hated the interior music though. Much preferred the outdoor area's with ponds with fish in them.
