I have no idea what to make of this Herobrine thing, although unlikely, and so easy for someone to stage a hoax, I've seen some fairly convincing videos, especially where it's happened online, like Orc's pic is interesting. Though it'd be quite easy to stage that I'd imagine. The only reason I wouldn't call it total bullshit is that, would it really be so hard for Notch to put Herobrine in the game, it'd be no big surprise, he may not be the worlds #1 programmer, but he's great with concept, and this seems like something he'd cook up. Also Haf you got your old avatar back, nice ![]() |

Seriously, though, we have creepers. We don't need ghost stories. |

If only Notch thought of that. Now we are doomed. I scarred 2 friends for life after telling them about Herobrine on Facebook, now they're too scared to play Minecraft. One of them siad they saw him, he crapped his pants before noticing it was a zombie, but he's still scarred. =PAnd I only just then told em that Notch is going to release Herobrine without saying so. They are friggen scared lmao. |

Capi, you watch those videos...and you watch um good. You'll begin to look over your shoulder more often than you would normally. Youll begin to fear forests and places where there are no people. You'll look out your window, hoping to god you don't see him, but in th eback of your mind you will always want to catch a glimpse of his tall figure, and completely featureless face. You won't like the dark. |

What's so scray about the Slender Man? He just looks like that guy from Nightmare before Christmas... Besides, it's just someone's invention. Oh and the story behind him and Herobrine is not the same, the only thing is the fog... |

If you guys like creepy stuff you really need to check out Creepypasta.com I always find myself browsing this site (and 4chan's /x/) late at night when I'm bored. You can't be bored and creeped out at the same time. |

Unless notch posts in his blog about it then I'm not believing it, it's called Photoshop and model changing |

@Pando, a creepy "guy" that people only see for an instant in the fog, or in the woods. they could or could not be a myth made up by the internet. And they both have videos, stories, and god knows what made about them. What ISNT similar? Other than one is pixelated ![]() |

Let skeptics be skeptical, but also let the believers believe. |

Yes and in that instant they have a chance to magically find a camera and take a nice sharp shot, with Mr Slenderman being far away/blurry?

Basically the rest of the photo is fine art grade, and Slenderman is pixel-art grade (not that I don't like pixel-art), meaning they obviously are not the same. That said, blurring and pixelating are a hoax artist's friend, because it'll conceal obvious differences between the scene and the hoax object. The problem is that it's really easy to overdo. |

lol I remember that majoras mask hack that was so good everybody thought it was a ghost haunting the game, the creator of it even had a good story to go with it.... in the end though it was fake and thousands of "believers" disappeared. until notch adds herobrine in it's just a texture swapped iron door in my book |

@SA I'm just saying, if people only see him for an instant, how come they are quick enough to pull out a camera, take a clear photo, before he vanishes? |

Uhhh bro I think (and hope) he realises that they aren't photos...they are the creation of some random dude on the internet in some forum thread... |
