I ll keep an eye on the server states time to time. But i won't play until the old map will come back. I don't find motivation to build something on a temporary map. I ll play League of legend and some other game until then, or play Minecraft in solo sometime. I don't use Iconomy at all, i discover recently runecraft and i find it cool but not for all crazy rune. I like redstone wire and Craftbook system. I ll be online sometime on IRC too. I create some skin for fun so if you need one speciale skin you want, just ask me. I did Astroboy, Hit Girl, and a friend of mine. And i ll draw some other soon. I wish you good game and good luck to all admin who use many time on server configuration and work to give us back our last official map. Thanks to all =) |

Yeah - while Hafnium has my full confidence when it comes to writing plugins there are upsides to NOT going with proprietary solutions. While you won't be getting EXACTLY the functionality you want you are guaranteed to have permanent support, features that you wouldn't have thought of and frequent updates. It's a simple matter of MANY people being dependent on a given plugin instead of just our community and hence they will force udates, especially compatibility updates, one way or another. AND maintaining plugins in the MC environment is a mess - constant updates break your work all the time, it's just a chore you better let others do for you. ;-) |

We have turned it into an RPG.That said, it is a nice thing to have, and I wouldn't mind having it, but on the other hand, it does detract a little from Survival Multiplayer, turning it more into Run-To-The-Grocery-Store Multiplayer. Also I wasn't serious about Hafnium programming for us XD |
