They are! Seen them 3 times at Download 05, 07 and 09 and going to see them in October. xD I put one of their videos up a few pages back of them doing Meet the Wretched at Download 2009.

Anyway back to the music stuff..

They're not that heavy or that mental, from Show no Mercy to Seasons in the Abyss they were amazing, they still pull out something great every now and then but nothing like the early years.

without knowing a thing about drum and bass, I was hoping for/expecting tracks that used a drumkit, a bass guitar and nothing else. clearly I'm wrong and a little disappointed :p

edit: I'm not sure if the live version does it justice, but this is one of those tracks that everyone is sort of guaranteed to love. brilliant band too.

Live DnB is pretty much played that way. ^^
Of course there's a DJ too but the lead Drum & Bass line is performed by live musicians.

Indeed they are! I saw them 07 in Cathouse Glasgow with Panic Cell and In this Moment. Small club gig's just are the shit!

edit: gibboss, pendulum covering metallic is pretty awesome even though I like neither band :p

edit edit: cardboard, fugazi was pretty good, might check them out a bit as I don't have anything that even resembles post hardcore. or even vaguely punk for that matter.

Fugazi are odd every albums that little bit different its hard to find the perfect one, plus every memeber of that band has done stuff outside of the band thats really great too... the Dischord label, Rites Of Spring, Minor Threat, Joe Lally's Solo stuff, Happy Go Licky, Girls Against Boys ah the list goes on and on.

Animal collective always remind me of Battles who are made up from members of other band including math rockers Don Cabellero and metal/hardcore crossovers Helmet. I love those bands and i love battles
