Sorry cockeye, you need to quit the forums and just leave Finland or something. It's not that far away from Norway and I'm afraid that your sucky mouse is going to send sucky radiation and ruin my mouse. |

5600 dpi is definitely overkill, there is absolutely no point in having such a high sensitivity :S They just use big numbers to attract people into a false sense of l33tness ![]() |

Well, I'm playing with a 800dpi 1999(?) sensor right now so, myeah, I might just see an improvement when i get my deathadder. ^_^ |

Probably, but most likely because of other factors. Sensor resolution is just one parameter and when it's very high it simply means that you will have to set your sensitivity lower (taking into account system-wide settings). |

Cry Justin Timberlake a river. I've done things in my life that I will always regret, but buying a mouse sure as hell won't be one of them. |

The only real reason to have high DPI is for usage on solid color surface. I use my Copperhead on a painted solid-color desk and it works like a charm. Can't really see why would anyone need 5600dpi - unless you intend to use it on glass or something |

I'm so sick and fucking tired of my lachesis. I can't get rid of those god damn cursor jumps and I've tried everything. Great mouse but this is probably going to make me buy a new mouse. Thinking about the Habu. |

What? Cursor jumps? Maybe it's defective. No decent mouse is allowed to skid through.Btw, before you buy the Habu take a look at reviews and customer complaints. I know they kept me from buying it. My DeathAdder is arriving on Wednesday. ![]() |

The mouse is well known for having cursor jumps. The latest firmware was supposed to fix it, but a lot of us still have the problem. I've checked some reviews for it, one that said it was the gaming mouse of the year. I've also checked the Razer blueprints forums, and it doesn't seem to be as buttfucked as the lachesis is in most cases. I'm hoping that the habu isn't quite as uncomfortable as Razer mice tends to be. Concidering the fact that it's built upon the form of the 3.0, I have high hopes for it. But do show me the reviews that made you not buy it. |

Very interesting... I'm currently using my old MX500 since my MX518 died on me, but a new 518 will be on my desk soon... The MX5XX just feels perfect to me - ergonomics, weight, handling, wheel. Yeah it's old, but that just means it's cheaper now ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
