I am denying more. The problem is that these stats are basically averages between the time when I was sucking and now and hence are hard to raise. :-P |

Played this a lot lately, I still suck but I can see some improvements. I mostly go random to try different heroes because a lot of the time I don't know what I'm up against and this seems like a good way of getting to know the heroes. From the heroes I've played I like Plague Rider, Thunderbringer, Pestilence, Legionnaire, Arachna, Demented Shaman, Jereziah. I sucked a lot as ophelia, wild soul , the dark lady and torturer. Now I really want to play but I have login problems.

So basically you liked all the top/high tier heroes and sucked with the sucky heroes. :-D OK, Torturer is high tier too but Ophelia is absolutely horrible (lowest win ratio according to stats) and Wildsoul requires good microing with your bear and knowledge of how to jungle properly (creep pulling, double stacking etc.). |

Pretty much however I was under the impression that Ophelia has sucky win ratio only because she is difficult to play not because there is anything really wrong with her. I also sucked a lot as scout but I only played him once and at that time I sucked as anything. |

Well, Ophelia requires microing not one or two creatures like Wildsoul and Warbeast but a whole bunch of them. She still has quite crappy skills overall and is pretty awful, so the only reason to choose her is the skimpy outfit:  Scout has a low win ratio as well - most people play him in a very, very wrong way - his main role should basically be providing his team with map awareness (Electric Eyes and roaming with Vanish) and pushing lanes when nobody's paying attention. After that he CAN become a late game carry but most people die so much with him because of the "OMG I'm Rambo" factor and wrong item/skill builds that they won't get anywhere and piss their team off with kill steals. P.S. Tip for epic winnage with Wildsoul - Ctrl+1 you and your bear, Ctrl+2 you, Ctrl+3 bear. BooBoo absolutely RAPES squishy heroes early and mid game if you put the right equipment on him while Wildsoul becomes one of the most epic and unkillable AGI carries late game. When I last played with some of my American buddies we had a lot of lulz since one of them took Wildsoul and in his own words "wouldn't ever play another hero again". We also had lots of "proc Bear, proc!" shouts on Ventrilo, since BooBoo has this passive ability that can root people in place for 3 (!) seconds, which is an epic ganking skill. ^^ |
