Finally some decent snow here as well! It snowed pretty much everywhere in Belgium except where I live.
The snow front got near us, then retreated to give the rest of the country another covering causing infrastructural chaos.
Our roofs remained dry.
But now It's snowing! Not big flakes but lots of rather small ones dancing around before they land.
Beautiful sight.

These photos were taken last thursday.... it was -23 degrees Celcius that day, never experienced cold like that:

This country is into blind panic.

I required people this morning to push my car out of the snow. Highways are completely messed up. Im practicly alone at work, every one is stuck in some place :mrgreen:

Here, they start ploughing from around 3 in the morning (to ensure that even people that get to work early doesn't get stop in the snow.

They only plough in the cities, as truck drivers will take care of all inter-city ploughing. Truck drivers are paid a very fair amount of money for running snow ploughs when there is a need for it, so the highways and large inter-city roads will always be clear :)

There was snow on the ground here yesterday but it's gone now.

And to be honest, I'm a bit relieved. I plan on being quite, quite drunk later and snow usually leads to me falling over quite a lot. Not that I ever get hurt, but it makes my clothes all wet, and that sucks ass.

the rule is that if the bus doesn't arrive byt 8.25 we can just go home.

I would have went home at 8.20 and say it didn't come. And I'd purposefully keep my watch set five minutes slow, so I could convincingly lie.
