hehe i love football fans, actually to be fair, i really do, went into a pub today, didnt realise the game was on, omg, blonde foxy german ladies everywhere! was FUCKING awesome, so at least thats one good thing about international football, its funny how all the men thou are looking at dudes in shorts running around rather than trying to chat up the fine goddess of a woman next to them lol.

But people complaining like me and you are just jealous in some kind of way, because their own nation does not have anything to show off

Problem with international football is most of these players play for different teams and therefore dont train together except for maybe 2 months every 2 years, and it means that the quality is worse than normal club level football...

The reason spain won euro 08 and are still holding strong here are only because its basically Barcelona FC, most of them train together weekly and play together weekly...

Paraguay should have won that

I'm pretty certain that the guy that was offside didnt't touch the ball, wasn't it a deflection (or double deflection) off of the Uruguian defence?

If its a shot at the goal, it can't be offside can it?

Repel i was a shocked as u, i walked in and wondered why the room was full of foxy models then i saw a bunch of twats with flags painted on their face and realised it was a game. but hot german women! it sounds far fetched I KNOW! but omg! it was awesome. but when i say pub i mean, its one of the popular oxford tourist pubs and where everyone goes when its hot i guess; its not my local thou. Also, i saw an article about german wags... lets just say germany beat us at wags as well as football (before u Germans attack me, i know there are hot German women in the world and that it is a stereotype... plus they make the best porn ^^)

You got a pretty good point there and actually I think that's also one of the reasons why Germany is so strong - ALL of their players play in the German league, so they either do play and train a lot together or at least play each other regularly.

Being actively offside doesn't always mean touching the ball - it can also mean blocking the view of the goalkeeper. But I don't think it was either thing. Legitimate goal in my opinion.

Watch it again if you dont think he was offside - he was offside the last defender by his right leg, he attempted to flick/tick the ball, as well as blocking the goal keepers view. Both of these are actively influencing play or being involved in play, hence its offside.
