Well firstly, I live in Scotland, and it rains all the friggin time. Plus the sun is just so much better. It is the horny maker. As for the kaleidoscope. Well, I just prefer being able to see distances as opposed to only seeing shifty, colourful patterns right in front of me. That wouldn't do me much good if I was being charged on by a gang of murderous Apache Indians. They'd have me scalped before I even knew they'd arrived. Mainly cause I was trying to make a pretty blue and pink pattern.
