The last 40 years it seems, that for all the governments he was not insane enough but stable enough to make good buisness with him.But hey, he was not an easy buisness partner, so just support some rebells and then install a Puppet government, like in Irak and Afghanistan, to make buisness much easier and cheaper to get the ressources. Humanity, no one cares for humanity and would have started to help. Otherwise there would be lots of places already be invadet, like saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Kongo, Myanmar. |

I doubt anyone would invade Saudi Arabia, they invest too much money in everyone else anyway I'm just scared of China taking over. |

greasy sup edit: i might as well add something constructive to this conversation. in that airstrike that killed gaddafi's son... well it's amazing that gaddafi himsself wasn't killed. it flattened the entire place. and i don't think that isreal has destroyed *every* chance of good government in the middle east. egypt seems to be getting on ok after it's revolution - still in the transition stage but it, apparantly, hasn't collapsed into anarchy yet. |

Except for the sectarian violence resulting deaths we saw over the weekend. While multi-faith communities are still run by dogma and laws a written by a single faiths doctrine nothing will change in the middle east.
