Ha, ha! Team Fortress 2 - guessing it seriously only because I want to post a game myself. Seeing you're a medic killing people with a medic's assists - you were playing ninja/samurai-medics, weren't you? I LOVE doing that if I got a good medic buddy. It works perfectly too, for a while at least. The best part is - you can "serve" your team normally until you get the ubers and then go on a rampage. :-D But wait - why am I seeing bonesaw, not ubersaw kills? You weren't ninja-ing after all? :-( |

Ooooh! Then it's even more impressive. ^^ OK - I'll fight fire with fire by posting an obscure Jap-RPG for a *mysterious* system. I wonder if somebody from then JRPG fan-circle will recognize it. =) ![]() |

Ha, ha! We were just chatting about it with Repel and he said Chrono Trigger as well (after some research). To that I answered: Thou shall be consumed by fiery flames (huh?) of the fire sacred fire pits (heh? :-D) for mistaking a game for the holy grail of JRPGs which is Chrono Trigger! (Personally, I don't give care too much about Chrono Trigger - I don't even know if this game isn't more appealing to me ^^) For the sake of fairness I'll give you the same tips that I gave Repel: 1. It's a lesser known game by a VERY famous Japanese game studio 2. There's a hint about the platform it was released on in one of my previous posts (and actually any subsequent titles I might post :-P) 3. It was never released in the US (which doesn't mean it wasn't released outside of Japan - truly I speak in riddles :-D) P.S. Actually I fired it up again out of curiosity and realized that you can JUMP in this game - jumping from a top-down perspective is so awesome, it became my main method of locomotion now (not to mention that it alters the attack style). :-D |

lol@Lim... I didn't take the time to compare it with Screens from Chrono Trigger... then it would have been clear that I'd be wrong. ![]() I now checked some titles I know on mobygames, but didn't found it. So no more guess from for this game. ![]() Edit: And I can still swear that I even have played it! ^^ |

And I didn't even guess Chrono Trigger, I quoted it from BlackHawk's post to see if he was right. ![]() |

I think he's carefully schemed this out. He wants us to think it's made by Square yet after looking through a huge list of Square games I'm yet to find this one. ![]() |

Ha - you finally nailed it, Baal, yes, it's Terranigma, only released in Japan and Europe. It was one of the last games to be released by Enix or Square but not one of the last games for the SNES in general - Chrono Trigger was released only half a year earlier. :-D Jump orgy indeed - funnily though you can't jump over anything most of the time - the jump only serves to modify your attack style. Ledges? No jumping. Fences? No jumping. etc. |

Then I won't even try to find it. Like I said - I'm not much into JRPGs. :-P I do think that I recognize the graphics somehow. Have you cropped the image, Baal, or is it by any chance... THE PSP FORMAT? :-P |

Well more modern ones such as Final Fantasy have unique looks to them, but the old 2D styled JRPGs are sometimes hard to tell apart without pictures to compare them. ![]() |
