The hint above is pretty good. Akira Kurosawa had *something* to do with the film above. Of course I assume that you know who Akira Kurosawa, the most famous Japanese director of all time, is.

i googled him(google is your friend :P).. i got a pretty good idea who he is now. but i my knowledge about japanese cinema is close to zero xD..
