I did activate it yesterday (that's when I received it) but there was nothing there initially. Today there was (i.e. lots of spam by people playing around like a fat kid in a candy store :-P).
It took three or four days for the invite to reach me, so don't fret if it takes a while.

P.S. Demm started a good trend by putting in his SpA nickname in the "status" field of his profile - I know so few of you by first name... Although Lacop was easy to figure out, ha, ha.
P.P.S. The interface is kinda laggy, which annoys me, but that was to be expected from a complex web app.

The reason that Opera is not yet supported by Googlewave is because of the fact that the HTML 5 support of Opera is not yet as far implemented as it is with the webkit render engine(Chrome/Safari) or the one used by Firefox.

Hopefully within the next major release the support for HTML 5 will be better.

if you go to the box called "All" there should be a wave there which is called: "Invite others to Google Wave".

I got 20 invites to send out for Google wave.
