Dunno really, its bugged like it was a bethesda game. Main problem is "Weird system resource usage = heavy lag" http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... 96&page=46 , 150.000 views since yesterday ![]() |

Yeah, it shoves all its data into the CPU instead of RAM, really bad programming there. :ug0ly: Quote: I have system monitoring tools open on the second monitor every time I play any game, and this game is incredibly processor-intensive. Thing is, though, it doesn't even pass to my RAM. The game uses maybe 200MB of RAM, and puts the rest directly on the CPU. The CPU of course gets backed up to 100% usage, and I get huge lag. Meanwhile, my GPU usage never goes above 60%. I also get a lot of lag when first loading videos, and that also makes my CPU go up to 100% usage.

it'll probably be worth it in the end, yeah. cos if we have our own server we can at least try to keep out the idiots that COD games are usually awash with. that, and ban lame weapons (shotguns, anyone? ![]() |

Post subject: | Re: [COD:BO] Call of Duty: Black Ops, Server up now! |
Nope no banning weapons, its stupid. |

Post subject: | Re: [COD:BO] Call of Duty: Black Ops, Server up now! |
You shouldn't need to ban weapons for this game, the designers have changed it do shotguns are only primary, and you cant spam scavenger perk to get noob tube ammo all the time. Lets see how the week plays out. |

Guess what, rank hacks are on ! Quote: Judging by the video we’ve just seen, it looks like the guys over at TheTechGame.com are responsible for the hacks, or at least they know the person who has done it.
What you are about to see in the video, strong language aside, is hackers bypassing the game’s security and unlocking 15th prestige mode instantly, as well as unlocking and completing all of the challenges within Black Ops. They have also managed to gain access to a 15th prestige-only multiplayer lobby, which of course ruins the whole concept of levelling up in the first place. ![]() ![]() They will never learn... |

I did manage to get good enough internet to play a bit yesterday. Though it was very lag-licious, I still managed to get a remote-controlled C4-bomb. It doesn't turn that well, and before I got it turned, an enemy spotted me, and I had to blow us both up ![]() |

Too easy
Btw, how do I actually go about joining your server? Can't see it in the server list and there doesn't appear to be a i.e. 'Join IP' option anywhere.

The whole browser system is fucked atm, you cant see friends, you cant join thru friends... From what i got to play last night it was enjoyable, and i was doing really well for a entry level noob, but then 4 softlocks, sooooo any ideas? gonna update the gfx drivers, and try again tonite... So far the single player narrative is retarded, at least MW2 (although OTT and corny [which i actually liked thou]) had a decent narrative structure,... in BOps it just kills the immersion and structure everytime it returns back to SAW F*CKING TWO! EDIT: Has anyone tried adding the ip to the favourites browser page? |

I found the server just fine through the server browser.![]() Lol and here i was many months ago, swearing off activision and cod, then get sucked into their marketing campaign like i was a hookers 1000th client. Give Activision credit, they have the best marketing people around, i hear they once did marketing and PR work for the really successful Lucifer and major player Cthulhu. Lets hope they patch this shit soon. |

I invited BAM to my hc HQ game, shot him the moment he spawned infornt of me and let him bleed to death ( noob has no pro version of last stand! ) ![]() Then later I shot him and an enemy finished him off, covering my mishap. ![]() Still in the same game I managed to get my first self earned Attack Dogs! ![]() Later I used Combat Practice to test graphic settings ( Result: I turned everything toward max and disabled some shader stuff like distortion and depth of view in the config ) for ~40 frames min, as it was before with medium settings. Mr. Green bot got a quad kill with a semtex in one of these games. ![]() |

At least people on steamforums have more fun ways of spending time http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=1574882 "Black Ops PC - Box won't open" Quote: have you tried updating your knife drivers?
Quote: Your specs are too low
the knife needs to be atleast 10 inch and has to be as sharp as a katana. Quote: Yea this is a known bug on the Preorderd version
Treyarch said they will be patching this ASAP so dont worry Btw your Specs doesn't seem to meet the minimum requirements so i suggest picking up some Heavy Duty Scissors or a good Meat Cleaver to do the job right. Ah and don't forget to update their drivers like "Sarge945" suggested. ![]() |
