Do it! Jazz is bad ass :) For the last two years i have gone to the Jazz and Blues Fest in Cognac and sat around eating seafood and watching street jazz.

Mulatu Astatke and Charles Mingus are my favourites!

Once had a chance to play with her, at a seminar at the conservatorium, but I didn't took it as I just started playing the Sax and the kids there at the seminar were way way better. Was an awesome introduction day though, to the only conservatorium in holland that not focusses only on classical or jazz. Had an awesome time that day. Candy also does a lot of work there.

I mostly play Soul, Funk and Blues the past years though. Oh, and jamming to reggae with a fat one :mrgreen: Or jammin with some internet radio stations, I always liked that a lot as well, need to go do that again :mrgreen:

I really like both forms of jazz, but the faster experimental style I just appreciate more because of the intricacies and skill required to pull it off without it sounding like an elephant gangbang with a mouse. :mrgreen:

I recently found this band, due to my absolutely amazing girlfriend. I don't know much about them right now, but their music is amazing. It's a new, kind of different kind of music than what I usually have to put up with, at least here in America. (justin bitchass, generally the genre of hip-hop, and rihanna) If I were to recommend one song, it would be Little Lion Man. Take the time to listen to it. This band's music gives me chills.

But yeah, pretty nice music but a bit . . . I don't know. It seems to me that lately (i.e. about a year ago) there's been this sort of trend in 'popular' music (oh dear, do I sound like an elitist music prick or what) of melancholy, wintry, rural sounds. I'm not saying that I don't like it but for some reason something deep inside tells me that I shouldn't like it.

Oh, I apologize if It's already been shown. There are like 30 pages of this music so I didn't really listen to it all :wink: I still love these guys so I thought I'd show them here, where I know everyone cares about my opinions :ugly: :4

Edit: Just went back and found where that video was posted. I saw that Bucky has posted the Little Lion Man. So disregard that video i suppose, and the others if i missed those. Sorry about that :P I just found them and was totally blown away.
