This is what they said... "Dear Karl, We cannot accept the item back in this condition Sir. All neccessary details to ascertain compatibility and suitability are clearly visable on the box and on the website prior to purchase" What a load of cunts! £150 wasted. Now, when we upgrade the PC completely, we're going to have to spend ANOTHER £150 + on the PCI-Express version! What a fucking pisstake! Not happy! Be warned, OC-UK bastards! |

The dutch law says a customer can return their products undamaged to the shop within 30 days, no matter what the company tells you on so called "company policies". i can imagen UK having such laws too. |

That's what we thought, but obviously Overclockers have their own little Terms & Conditions, which is pretty fucked up.i can imagen UK having such laws too. Ok, the card has actually been used, as I do have an AGP slot, but it's undamaged. Also, the box it came is has been torn at the top, slightly, and obviously packaging is unsealed. But, the 'product' is 'brand' new and 'undamaged'. They just simply don't want to have it opened. How pathetic is that? All companies should have up to 28 days to return goods to be replaced, swapped, or to get a refund. Fucking tossers! |

Doesn't matter if they have their own T&C's. Take it up with the Citizens Advice Bureau. You'll find (I know from an insiders point) that no matter what they have as "their" rules in OCuk, that UK business law overrules whatever bullshit they tell you. Within 28 days you're entitled to a full refund on the product. http://www.oft.gov.uk/Consumer/Your+Rig ... +goods.htm Quote from the above article (which is a governmental article, and IS the law in the UK) : "Tip: think twice before you buy from a trader who displays a 'no refunds' notice. It is against the law." |

So, what should I do? lo. Keep it and use it untill we upgrade the PC and buy a PCI-E version, or send them that link and say "Money back, NOW?" |

thats your choice. But if you plan on returning it, you rather should do it right away.

Just found this on that link... No grounds for complaint You don't have any real grounds for complaint if you: were told about the fault examined the item when you bought it and should have seen the fault did the damage yourself made a mistake when buying the item simply changed your mind but many shops will help out of goodwill if you have proof of purchase. |

most of them are bullshit, as mute pointed out, its worked out in the law. 28 days you have to return your product, and get your money back. No reason has to be given for returning the object. |

Well, the package is opened, unsealed and the graphics card HAS been used. Can they tell that? If it's been used that is. |
