Well, i thourght we should have a thread where we share ideas for patroling, and we can learn techniquees from other people.

I go around main looking at stuff and if i find a greifer i freeze than warn them, and then i follow them to see if they actually listened and corrected themselves or just continue going on to be a Dumba$$ and then i kick em

What do u guys do??

But more on the topic, i'm not only looking for griefing when i 'spawn' at a new person, i'm also looking in what they are building or where they are walking to. A more powerfull tool is, who are they with. If i dont trust a 'walker' i just follow them and do a /info on him and his buddies. If nothing shows up, i'll continue with the /pat. Otherwise i'll hang arround and write down the names so i can /tp to them more often then i would see them with /pat.

And watch chat, if somebody yells, 'STOP!' or 'Fuck off!' then i'll tp to check them out. Ofc i follow the 'x is a griefer! ban him!'
I'll watch both then, the person called in the griefer and the suspected griefer. If a suspected griefer does brake any other rule, i'll warn him as well for griefing.

btw: Dont kick/ban people i freeze! :) i hate that when vets/members do that.

I do freeze them first, and then let them go off, but if they continue, i kick em, or do u mean like freeze them and leave?

Okay. You do realize that Veteran is a builder rank right? I appreciate your "enthousiasm", but we don't need overzealous veterans flying about. Besides, kicking griefers is not what the game is about.

I'll also add. We by all, appreciate the help. Though, PLEASE, leave moderation for OP+. As they are, the main ranks that moderate.

If no OP+ is present at the time, then yes, you can moderate.

Well as veteran you get freeze kick and ban so people kind of it's a rank you can moderate on maybe you should make that more clear so as you said no overzealous veterans are running around :/

You can moderate if the ops need help, or if people are shouting "GRIEFER" and there's no one around to help, but vets don't have /patrol for a reason. Its not an admin rank.
