Hey Guys, I am looking for some advice, i have recently upgraded my graphics card and operating system to Win 7 64 bit, but I have noticed that since doing this my Ping has gone up on all TF2 servers. Does anyone know why this could be? When going to speedtest.net the Ping speed is very low under 20 which it was previous to the upgrades so it would appear it is only affecting the Ping when in games. Hope someone out there knows why this is!!!  Scouse

Hi, My rates are as follows: Rate = 10000 CL_updaterate = 20 Cl_cmdrate = 30 Scouse

Yeah forgot to thank you for that saint, made things a lot easier for me, I've since used Chris' fps config which isn't too pretty but further imrpoves things. New laptops in the post, can't wait to have some framerate and see the graphics all pretty again  I'm getting some horrid ping at my parents house when someone else is online just browsing, is there anyway for the router to prioritise on my connection? |
