So, basically when i try to open my minecraft.exe or wom.exe files it always says this : " Could not create Java virtual machine '' . Having read this message i first though , dont i have java ? well , just to make sure i downloaded the latest version of java . What i noticed is that all this happened after i had installed a new anti-virus program ( its trusted so no worries ) , the program is BitDefender 2011 . Anyone know what's happening ? If yes please answer cause i want to play on smp and on fb . . :X Thanks . |

Java may not be able to secure the necessary amount of memory needed to run the program, therefore Java errors out. Try lowering the amount of memory Minecraft tries to reserve or completely close and shutdown your new anti-virus software, and see if that fixes it. |

Actually it was a pretty simple problem , since i had downloaded a new anti virus and it was very good ( at least thats what the specs tell :p ) it may have removed an essential program of java , which is Java SE Development Kit 6u24. I was smart enough to think of it :p all those videos on youtube and other websites talked about that , the memory ammount, when not even one thinked about this program . man i was lucky to think about this ![]() [SpA]ProtectMyBalls wrote: hmmm i think your problem is that you should be opening teamfortress 2
Haha , well i have been opening it a lot lately , but i dont think ive been on spa servers much because its either full or empty ( and when its empty i idle a little so there's someone on the server ;p ) ![]() But well , i will have to play more on spa servers so that i can see your head blow into little pieces , its going to be smashed into smithereens with either my Rocket Launcha or my Demoman's Grenade Launcha :p hehe ![]() Ps : This problem as been solved , this thread can be either locked or i dont know >.> ![]() ![]() |
