Quote: What follows is an extract from the book "Bestiarium Otakium" by Tom Aerts
In this chapter we shall give a rough outline of what a Pinky is, where/how it lives and characteristics that make them easy to identify in the wild.Name and Appearance Most people know this peculiar lifeform by it's official name (or variations of it,e.g. Pinkeh, Pinks, Pinkzor, Hot Stuff, Pink, finky), though some might know it as a Eu or ユー or a Hina(giku) (In the latter case, It's natural partner the futari is always called a Nagi). In steamworks-based areas It can take the appearance of any random Anime character it likes (does not apply when It's called Eu or Hina). Family Structure One of the more bizarre aspects of the Pinky is it's tendecy to group up with different species. Pinkies are always part of a core and an extended family. It forms a core family (known as a Lesbocave or a Tsun-and-Dere) together with a futari. Pinkies are violently dominated by the futaris, the Pinkies however seem to enjoy this and become depressed if they do not receive their dose of abuse for extended periods of time. The cause for this symbiotic relationship is not known. The more sentient and intelligent futaris write poetry about their slav...Pinkies Quote: This is Pinky. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. Pinky is my best friend. She is my life. I must master her as I must master my wife. Without me, Pinky is useless. Without Pinky, I am useless. *is distracted by some shiny objects and leaves*
Pinkies and their master-futaris always join a larger group or family, generally known as a failtrain (though pinkies themselves can also call them Emotrains, Stronktrains or the Astro Doom Turbine Destroyer Squadron XIV). Head of this family is a bearded, beer-loving BAM, usually referred to as Grandfather or Pops. Bams refers to the other family members as kids or "children". The Scatterbrain, Scat, Scot or Scotty can be considered the (psychological) mother of the group. The Pinky's extreme Oedipus Complex mixed with it's love for futari gives for a peculiar relationship between itself and the Scotty. The futaris don't mind however. Example of Scotty-Pinky relationship Quote: [SpA]Scatterbrain: then can we make babbies
The last two members of the failtrain are the fLuffy and the Simon. Even though fluffies and Pinkies enjoy teasing each other (in a good or in a bad way, who knows), they usually have a good relationship. Not much has been written or investigated about the Pinky-fLuffy relationship, apart from their habit of making up words to insult each other. Pinkies usually have the task of feeding and educating the youngest member of the family: The talkative Smn or Mozz (Some obscure studies have stated that Simons and Mozzes are in fact different creatures, but no conclusive evidence has been given so far)failfinky (lesbo2): anytime, anywhere failfinky (lesbo2): let's touch futari's moustache failfinky (lesbo2): while doing it Example of a fLuffy insulting a Pinky Quote: Luffy fails: ninja cockbucket
Primitive drawing of a Pinky's failtrain![]() Habitat Pinkies can usually be found the dark and moist areas of steam and IRC. Here they lay in wait to annoy random people with nonsensical conversations (Pinkies feed on the annoyance of other people, in fact). They take trophies of these conversations to their hideouts. A Pinky's trophyroom Quote: Pinkies also say they 'want to live enslaved in futari's castle' when they grow up. Nobody knows why they think futaris live in castles with rainbows and unicorns. Primitive drawing of a futari's castle Pinky philosophy and metaphysics Several famous Pinky-philosophers worked out a theory of the Pinky race being the mental product of a human being called "Tom Aerts". Extract from "Discours du Tom Aerts" by René Pinkartes Quote: ...And he who is the beginning of it all, we shall name Tom Aerts,..., Tom ergo Sum. My investigations made several things clear about this holy creature,.., Thus we can conclude on his appearance: a height of around 1m90, blonde and MANLY. He enjoys playing team-fortress 2 and writing nonsense to channel his mental instability. He is shoe size 44,5 and believes it is essential for everyone to know this. Finally, we can also locate it's home: Leuven, Belgium - Living in the palace of his great-great-great-....-great-grandfather Pope Adrian VI, which has been turned into a dorm.
Other Pinky-thinkers have described this Tom Aerts as enjoying manga, animes and annoying futari-Jaspers by constantly asking the meaning of japanese words. He has also been described as dirty, without manners and as having serious drinking/smoking issues. His tendecy to walk around naked, in underwear or in skirts (no uniformity in research) has also been widely documented by Pinkies. There is however a consensus on how this Tom Aerts' face looks.Pinkian Religious artwork ![]() ![]() Further Questions about Pinkies will be answered if possible |
