Over the past four years of playing this Hat Collector Sim, I must say the year I had the most fun in started last year, when one of my friends decided to pick me up from my comfortable pub and drop me in the 6v6 side of things. So here I am, about a year later, wanting to do the exact same thing.
With teams usually becoming less active over the summer (And failtrain as well; people having work/going on vacation/having extended periods of wanking), The time I have available for non-fail tf2 (pun intended) obviously increases. So my plan is starting up a 6v6 team (for the summer) with hardcore (yet beast as fvck) pubbers to show them the other side of tf2 and -hopefully- make them have as much fun with it as me :>

So if
A) U never/rarely played comp tf2, but wanna have a go at it
B) Don't know what to do with your extra time during the summer vacation
C) Are called futari and want to tell me how shit at tf2 I am and that I am an idiot
Throw in a reply or hit me up on steam/IRC

(Also, yes I do realise you guys used to have a billion warteams, but I'm sure there are still a lot of people who never had a go at 6v6. And, besides, asking never hurt anyone :3)

* Stating the obvious: U'll need mumble and a mic.
* If u have an attitude of 'We lose our first game, I give up', Please don't bother
* Was thinking of playing ~2-3 nights / week. The hows and whens will be decided when we're 6 though.
* Extra points if u're a japfag (I don't wanna be a lonely faggot :<)
* Since the plan is getting you hooked with comp tf2, this transforming into a team competing in the leagues next season would be the Ideal outcome, of course. As such, general rules concerning unlocks will have to be kept in mind; so vanilla + kritz/ubersaw/blut(/Quickfix maybe) + Equalizer (Equalizer probably/99% won't be allowed next season, but not having an equalizer might be too hard for a beginning medic, idk. We'll see). There'll be times where we have to use unlocks to troll russians or frenchies however, this is more important than learning the game properly.

Triplem can play Solly as well, and I will play the leftover class. So still looking for a Solly, Demo (ur ability to sticky jump/get to middle fast is crucial; I'd be more than happy to teach u the ropes of it, but that would mean some extra hours on your -and my- part) or Medic (medic is, imo, the hardest class to start out as. I will make an attempt at being the main caller, but I have no experience whatsoever with it, so u'll have to use your brain a lot and not be afraid of telling everyone what u think should happen - something you learn through trial and error of course. So don't go medic cause u think it's just holding m1)

Will keep track of progress, schedule gamenights, etc. here, feel free to join

Oh wait, I think I had a game of 6v6 with BAM, hofven and aduket and...... dunno! It was fun. But that was only the once :shock:

I'm not sure what you mean with too much time; I was thinking of playing about 2 or 3 times in a week - just whenever everyone is online. Just let me know if u can manage that, untill then i'll keep u in backup :>

I want to see this develop, will be cool. If you need a merc at some point it would be my honor to have a couple games (I guess I can play as soldier, scout or medic). I might be busy with real life or a tf2 summer team ('mini and the boys' going huge? prem maybe? (no, but whatever)) but give me a shout anyway!

But yeah good idea; the original fail team entirely consisted of SpA members + SpA regulars, so this goes back to our roots O:

Pyro isn't really played in 6v6 (and when it is, 90% chance it's just for trolling)

It was a suggestion for when we were in a team with taimou, anty, pena and origo, but it never got to be the name :( It's pretty much a team name derived from cookye and the uglies; the best (/bad) instagib team.
