hello guys
my problem is i cant use my console command,
if i press ` i get nothing.
i tried to fix it, but it was pointsless.
@ options > Keyboard > Advance > i already tick those things on but i cant use it.
Help ?

Are you trying to get your console to come up at the title screen?

In that case, you need to right click Team Fortress 2 in your Steam library list, go to Properties. In the tab 'General', click 'Set Launch Options'. Then type in -console and the console should automatically pop up when you start up the game.

Yeah, if you've got an AZERTY (French) keyboard, it's the ³² button you need to press, right under Esc.

Can you change the key bind for the console in the normal tf2 options? On my laptop and I don't have tf2 installed so here's how to do it if it isn't in the normal options.

In your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\team fortress 2\tf\cfg folder there is a file called config.cfg, open that up with notepad and use ctrl+f to find "toggleconsole".

It should say bind "`" "toggleconsole", just change the ` to whatever key you want and use that key to open console.

bind j "kill"
bind k "toggleconsole"
