I don't like the mod idea. that is something designed to gain a tactical advantage over others and is therefore categorically cheating.
So using admin powers to change the time to moring is not cheating in your eyes? I don't see any difference between a op+ using that mod and a op+ changing the time of day. (Except ppl seeing the later and later asking the "Howard, can you make it day?"-questions (which, thank god, have decayed))
Isn't it the op+'s JOB to technically cheat (using worldedit, daytime-changing, mute, kick, ban, and stuff like that, which other players arn't allowed to use) to keep the server running?
Admins changing the time to day makes it day for everyone on the server. Using that mod makes it bright as if it was day, only for the person using it, thus giving the player an unfair advantage over those who aren't using it. That makes it cheating. Also, admins shouldn't use commands unless they are doing admin duties. That's not cheating, that's moderating.
I think you didn't understand fully what the mod does. It only affects the player using it. It also doesn't make it day, it brightens up the night to a level that resembles day.
