As was noted by Frimple and Orange, someone went to 4chan to wail and moan that I was a cruel, cruel admin and would not let him run around destroying our server with shit builds, idiotic roads and lag-fest minecarts. The ensuing conversation resulted in a mob of 4chan users turning up here with a mind to destroy us.

As ever, the griefers failed. No damage was done and in fact we may have gained a few more players.

There is one thing of note however. Due to the fact that people are very stupid and think that being on 4chan makes them anonymous and due to the fact that I really am a clever bastard, I know full well that our own Flodder450 was in fact the person who started all this.

So, one of our own, not some random grey who got booted in 10 seconds flat, tried to bring our whole server crashing down.

I think a ban would be an appropriate reaction.

If he has issues with how our server is run, he either needs to tell us that he isn't happy with things, or just fuck off to a server that he thinks is better.
Going to 4chan, mentioning our server name and whining about how bad the admins are is basically asking for a mob of griefers.

It amazing how much people I Knew who were in that thread, and i'm glad to see that some people from orcworms server stood up for us ^^

banishment is too good for him. let him build, let people grief his builds. let people grief him. get a rope. have his name added to the mcban system. I am quite pissed. It was sudden... one moment he was questioning what if... what if he built his huge unauthorized build.... next all the assholes arrive.

I am a naturally paranoid person. Is it really coincidence LWC crashes as a prelude to the invasion?? I will mention here the same LWC crash has occurred on another server of which name I shall not mention.

Ok. Short of torture, banishment.

At what point do these guys cross the line and it becomes a criminal activity? I did notice a sudden lag as if a DOS was in action. Maybe check logs for this type of activity?

Oh there was no DoS attack and LWC died because I killed it. LWCs database fucked up thus the chest duping that Vogel had. I had to relocate the DB to a different back end. LWC still functions but people will need to relock their chests. :D

I went to 4chans /v/ board to indeed vent my frustration, it wasnt at my hand that people wanted to raid the server though, that was an idea of them

as for the banishment, yes, i deserve it, supposedly i wanted to bring the server down, instead of just venting my frustration at howard

Extremely disappointed. Very much regret in putting in a good word for you when you had your ban appeal looked over.
I agree with a Ban (With no chance for appeal), if he has issues with how thing are, he doesn't need to be here.

4chan threads 404 extremely quickly, but I've made a topic with the original post here.

If anyone has issues with us, Destoned, they shouldn't just leave. They need to come to us to explain their frustrations. The last think they should do, however, is slander our server on a website know for its aggressiveness and militancy.

That just utterly disgusted me... What is wrong with people?! It's a game for crying out loud, if they don't like how it's played then fuck the hell off, because some people actually enjoy it when they get the chance to play!

Sorry some things just really piss me off -_- I'd never get pissy with anyone normally (Except Ells, but that's ok, he's a bro :P)

Yeah, this kind of thing pisses me off as well. No one was holding him captive, he could walk away anytime, or, as other said, TALK to us, but no, he ran off and whined to those he knew would attack en mass . He is a *fucktard* :) One of my new favorite words lol.
