This topic is for declaring eternal love to your gun.

Which gun do you love the most?

I had a small affair with the M4 and the Scar-H, after which I bound my sole to the m249 for a while. But after disastrous results when playing with Saint and Bucky, I divorced and took up the semi-auto shotgun m1014 (or is it m1410).. That was untill I remembered the BOOMstick

So now I'm running around with the 870MCS and its actually viable. Nothing beats running around a corner and then blowing people away with some high powered pump action. I absolutely love the gun, and the best part is I'm a bit of a rarity for running around with a shotgun! Hardly anyone is toting these bad boys, and they regret it everytime they round a corner and get a bag of hail in the face.

The gun also allows me to pick whatever class I want, but I keep finding myself going back to support for the claymores (another underused gadget). Because when you have literally blown yourself through your opponents, nothing is more fun then dropping a claymore or 2 and picking up kills when those people respawn and try to find you.

I'm really confused now, because I wasn't even trying very hard :S

Anyway, having a lot of love for the AA mini gun tank thing, got 16:0 and then realised I didnt pack my repair kit and got a bit killed by a tank. But oh my! it is fantastic, can take on everything pretty much

It's great when you shoot down helicopters and jets from the sky. You can hear them screaming over your head and then hitting the ground in a massive explosion. I was doing really well until some little bastard came up behind me with a C4

And DICE is looking into nerfing the AA's. The AA bullets actually aren't what causes most kills, its the uncontrollable jank on the controls those bullets have on the steering of airborn units. Imho the current AA is a bit to good at shooting down helicopters at least, with it knocking your helicopter about like its playing golf.

I'd say the first problem with the AA is that it is too good at killing infantry, let alone aircrafts.

Well if it was nerfed so it was harder to kill aircraft then the bullets hitting infantry would be like elmo tickles :<

The balance is that it is weak as fuck, and normally one air strike or tank shell will disabled it.

The problem is not the bullets doing too much damage. The problem is as soon as your helicopter gets hit by the AA bullets it starts tumbling over as the "knock-back" is overtaking your controls. You can't manouvre for shit anymore and are more likely to crash than that he would blow you up in the air.

It's called balance, helicopters and jets have flares and a lot of fire power and speed, AA gun has very little armour.

It is a stupid thing to moan about, or even consider nerfing.

Yes and thats why the devs have stated they are looking into the whole AA knocking choppers silly thing and pretty much have said there will be some changes. Really stupid eh balls?!

The AA should kill helicopters but not to the point you don't have a chance to even manouvre out of the way of the thing. Damage is fine, insane knocking about is not.

It's pretty balanced in my view, the only reason they are probably looking into it is because of kids moaning about it and that they are sick of all the emails..

Played AA last night, helicopter was attacking me and had plenty of chance to blow the shit out of me, but it's really down to pilot skill and timming imo. So if you are really shit with a helicopter, then ofc you will complain about AA guns.

Devs are just buckling to children filling their inboxes and forum threads with tears. I played AA last night, had one amazing run, and one run where i got mullered by a jet/heli team. I hope the leave it as it is, I'd rather devs just stick to their guns rather than jumping to action as soon as some nub runs over and starts moaning about their helicopter run being ruined by something that is it's intended omega
