Hello SpA

This is a message to all you talented musicians.

I was wondering if any of you were interested in a SpA playlist using Soundcloud.

We could have a playlist like Top 20 Playlists or Top Electronic beats etc. These playlists will be created in Soundcloud then because of the amazing Widgets that Soundcloud creates, in the future if it's possible, we could integrate it into the SpA website. Each one of you could have a separate page with your soundcloud playlist and a little biography about yourselves too. This is just from the top of my head and I will have to look into it more but I do know that it is possible.

What do you think?

As with everything in SpA, there is no immediate rush, I just thought it would make a nice addition to the community

ooh! this sounds really interesting. when you say 'talented musicians' does that mean you're looking for stuff that we've made ourselves? cos the rest of it suggests that this is for whatever soundcloud music we find that we'd like to put in a playlist - and that with all the bio's + explanatory notes would be very very VERY cool, i've already got some ideas of what i could do with it :5:

Yes, music that you've made yourself for the main SpA playlist. On your bio page you can include your own playlist.

I have the visions all in my head; so the main page will be the SpA playlists and also on that page a link to all the talented musicians, clicking on that link will open up your personal bio page with your own soundcloud playlist.

Does that make sense?

I'd like to do a little SpA musicians co-operation somehow.

If I do some effort I can hook up my e-drums to my PC. I'm sure there's some guitarists, bassist, keyboard players, sax-players, bassoonists, in SpA who are up for a little collab.

If you need an acoustic guitar for some background *noise* or other rather simple tasks i could help :) The only problem is i gave up daily practicing because of school tasks and i think i quite lost my skill :ugly:

I don't mind doing all the mixing/mastering if we collaborate and make a song.

I suppose I can also play the guitar /or and bass if needed ;)

Ooo that's a good idea too. Making music for the SpA playlist. That wasn't in my thought process, I was just thinking about tunes you may have already made.

SpA Band FTW! :4

This playlist doesn't necessarily mean you have to make any new music. It's basically for those musicians that already have got stuff recorded of their own, by them that they would like to include in the playlist.

You can do mixes as long as you credit the songs used. ^^

I'm more talking about the colab of making music ourselves. I'll see what I can blast off.

I say we set this up

Don, I assume we're the only one's producing around here, shall we coordinate some stuff?

Check your PM.

Yeah probably me or Don are gonna be mixing and mastering the recordings. Every month when an instrument has been added we can turn it into an mp3 and put that on the soundcloud. I'll send you the mp3s than.
That is, if we have ppl recording stuff and sending it
Check the colab post!

I recently started working with garage band. I have a couple generic beats done, still trying to get the hang of it.
