Alreet everyone, I'm Tickle or TickleGames for the sake of a username.

I'm 23 from the UK currently studying Sound Design with one of your members at uni. Been playing games as long as I can remember and I've got no intention of stopping :) I write a lot of music in my spare time, ranging from Metal to Classical etc, will provide a link if anybody wants it :)

I also have my own Gaming channel on YouTube, not a huge amount of content yet but I'm working on it, feel free to check it out http://www.youtube.com/user/TickleGames?feature=mhee
(also yea I totally just bumped my gaming channel over my music :p)

Ermmmmm yea I'm crappy at these things so I'll leave it as it is and run away now, feel free to ask questions and what not.

TickleGames

P.S HI DONDONDON/Whiskers/Ryan whichever your name is on here

Hey there! :3 So you write music, eh? I myself compose music, mostly classical(ish), and it's always nice to find fellow musicians.

How was the weekend?

Aye tis always nice to find more musicians, regardless of the fact I go to a music uni :D

Weekend was spent onnnnnn TF2 while I try to get back to the level of skill I used to be at before I got lazy and sacked it off :)

I could have applied for a place in a music-oriented gymnasium or a conservatory, but meh. Not enough interest to make it a job.
You must play instruments too. Which? For how long? Preferred brand(s)?

Instruments I play: Guitar, Bass, Drums
How Long: Played guitar for about 10 years now
Preferred Brand: Ibanez, got 3 of them so I'm a tad attached to them :D

'elo Hope to see you around (more) in games but I'm stuck in a loop of Tribes and DayZ

Also I just decided to learn to play guitar. Its like an end life crisis for me. Not used to strumming it feels a little alien to me after 25 years of Cello.

Try rapid rasgueado and the three finger tremolo :ugly:

The three finger tremolo is a little more natural for me thanks.

Also try a or a louré or sautillé after a week of cello, then get back to me.

Please let it be to study Mongolian music, otherwise its just a kitsch toy for another world music poseur. Its such a beautiful instrument too when its used in its natural setting. If you can perform pharynx or umzad too you'd be a hero.

Well, I'm quite skillful in Tyvan throat-singing. Probably one of the most skillful in Finland. I was trained by a real master some six years ago.

I think that might be from the wrong side of the Sayan mountains for me to be familiar with it. Going to look it up anyway.
