Its nice how Europe's nations have learned to cope without empires. National jousting pageants using pig bladders where people pretend to be hurt, its cognitive behavioural therapy for an entire country.

At least Germany's still doing its best to subtly conquer Europe via investment banking and a monetary union, the last two direct attempts failed but you can't fault this approach.

sorry. i would but i'm absolutely terrible at fantasy football, i'm only interested in the sport once every 2 years when Europe/the World Cup roll around :( but i think you're right in saying that Germany will win (gogo boring-mode!.. until a last minute equaliser from the opposition. but then they'll win on penalties anyway), although we'll have to wait and see what Spain come up with. either that or the mighty Ireland will conquer all in their path :ugly:

full time, and i am sure that our impartial and beloved ITV commentators will bemoan the inexcusable lack of goal-line technology, just as they did 2 years ago at South Africa when England where knocked out, and that they have no double standards at all.
