A friend of mine has a Toshiba Satellite laptop that came with Windows Vista pre-loaded on it and he recently got some type of error on it that won't allow him to go past a black screen with a stationary mouse pointer (unless you're using a wireless optical mouse) between the loading bar and the startup logo. Does anyone have any idea how to get it back in a working state, that is his ONLY computer other than the iOS devices he owns. Misc: The only working hardware seems to be the screen and keyboard, the mouse pad may be unresponsive/unloaded/not work at all. He can pull up the boot menu and browse that. He does have recovery discs, but when he tries using them it says that the model is not supported. Processor-Intel(R) Celeron(R) 2.20GHz OS-Windows Vista 32bit |
