| Post subject: | Max Payne 3 |
Did anyone play Max Payne 3, who also played parts 1&2? I am wondering if I should buy the game or not. All this talk about achievements and DLC crap and what not make me afraid that the game isn't that exciting story line wise as the first parts were. |

Read an article that's not that Max Payne of the good old times, but still a really good game. I'll buy it when it's on sale... still have to play all the stuff from the last sales. ^^ |

Seems exciting from what ive seen from people playing it, the only problem i have seen is that the camera switches from left to right shoulder a lot and that pisses a lot of people off. |

This.Multiplayer is fun, the implementation of Bullettime in MP is really well done. It spreads to everyone who can see ( and probably is seen by ) someone who is affected by it, starting with the user. You get adrenaline from killing guys or sometimes from looting corpses which can be used for shootdodges with bullettime or the burst ( special powers ) you picked. There is the average weapon/perk customization we know from the CoD series. It has a nice gangwars modus where you play 4 rounds of different modes to get bonus lives for the final team deathmatch round that determines the winner. It also has a mode where 2 players as max/sidekick fight against everybody else and if they die the one who dealt the most damage turns into them. The camera can be switched left/right with a button click, it allows you to peek around corners. Hackers were a problem last time I played but they might have dealt with them by now, interface, especially for customization, is a mess for the PC version but you dont spend a lot of time there. |

Thanks for the info. It was on steam summer sale, so I decided to buy it 50% off. |
