i'm a wee bit late on this, but here, have some screenshots - http://imgur.com/a/A84tK#0 also, here's the PC gamer bit that you've probably already read ![]() i can hear my dog-eared 8800gt, E2180 and 2GB of memory collectively screaming in terror at just the thought of it, so i'll need an upgrade for this - it can't even handle Empire that well. but knowing Creative Assembly, it's gonna be very much worth it. i found the ins and outs of Empire a bit overwhelming, but i'd be willing to stick with the Roman setting more: i guess i'll be fine with a similar level of complexity if they go down that route, especially given that they're intent on beefing up the cinematic side of it. no idea how flow-y the whole integrated cutscene thing is going to be, but if there's a dev team out there that can pull it off properly, it's these guys. gonna be following this one right up until release ![]() |

The ai has been improving with every game. So yeah, you can expect that. |

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012- ... nformation among other things - Quote: We've actually nailed the min-spec down so it's probably never going to change again," he revealed. "That's probably what we're aiming for. So as time goes by, you'll be able to run Total War on pretty much any PC that's out there.
so... their engine actually runs on witchcraft and other dark magiks? that's a real see-to-believe one. not that i'm complaining if it works!
"To make that happen, we actually end up splitting both assets and the actual code paths, so there's actually different ways of putting the scenes together for the two ends [of the spectrum]. Top-end really will exploit everything that your card can do. Bottom-end, if you've got a laptop running integrated graphics, we want to run on that. That's doable now. The tech's come on well enough." |
