Post subject:  Is your PC faster then our dualcore server?
Im doing some random tests to see how fast our dualcore server actually is.

Now i made some easy to do compiling test to messure it.
As test we compile uwc3 (dumb version) on amxmodx 1.75

On the dual core server(Using only 1 core) it took 53.3 seconds on one core to compile it.

Now i want to know, how fast can you compile it?

Please follow the instructions below (5 min work, very easy) and post your CPU type and speed together with the results please.

Wait till its done, then it will display the result.

Brokendreams: 78,55 sec (Intel P4 CPU 2.93GHz)
SaintK Office: 282,56 sec (Intel P4 2.0GHz)
No_Name 221 sec (AMD 1.8)
Pim: 65,19 sec (AMD 3200+)

Single. It'll perform slightly faster than any of the AMD dual cores, until AMD bring out their "Dual-to-Single-thread-accelerator-thingy" (tm) or until the compiler runs in dual core mode...
The dual core will leave mine for dust in anything which utilises both cores, otherwise a 4,200 X2 will perform at about the speed of a 3,500 ? (guessing there tbh).

i ets that 1 core runs about as fast as a 3500+ / 4000+

I'll do the test as soon as I get my pen drive back... or at least a new 1. (would d/l and run on Linsey's laptop but that would just be embarassing - Oh talking of which, would be funny to run it on my old IBM thinkpad!!!)
