I am trying to get my install to work again to test out some things but I cannot make it function at all.

When I played this (shudder) I had no issues running the game, updating and connecting to servers but now I cannot join any server at all.

Most of the time I just get sent back to the front screen with no message but a lot of the time I get this error and I have no idea what it means:
Any suggestions anyone? I have tried manually installing and using DayZ commander but no joy.

Could it perhaps be referring to product keys/activation codes of some kind?

Nope but I've sorted it I think. Failure to patch by Bohemia as fucking usual. One of the few companies on earth here to make valve look good...
