Heard about this, we're suppose to be getting 7, 8, 9 under Disney, 7 to come in 2015. Not really sure what to say other than any growth by Disney is a turn off for me as an animator, and that well whatever they do it wont be any worse than episode I

Not really Lukes but Leia's. She has 3 kids Anakin Solo, Jacen Solo, and Jaina Solo Fel. Jaina and Jacen are twins. Jacen turns to the dark side while Jaina trains under Lukes wife to become a Jedi. Only Concern I have is who will be playing the such Iconic characters of Han, Luke, and Leia? |

puts me in mind of John Carter, the last Disney-backed sci-fi epic; it was actually a pretty good film, but failed miserably because it was unoriginal (well what do you expect when it's based on the same book that inspired everything from Dune to Star Wars?). with Star Wars, nobody cares about that, obviously, it's just that John Carter wasn't even doing anything groundbreaking. 3 years is a long time to learn from mistakes, and the rampant love out their for the series should mean that they can't just churn out something sub-standard without risking someone kidnapping old Walt and dipping him in a vat of antifreeze. what i'm saying is...

Its a good thing that George Lucas will still be involved with the filming as a consultant. Also they will be using all of the ILM tools and techniques. Its just up to the directors, script writers, and casting to do a damn good job. |

Lucas is a bit like Spielberg, they've done some great stuff but sometimes they're complete idiots. |
