I one think it should be frowned upon given the following reasons: Not being able to find diamonds means you're a poor miner. The ability to find them easier should be granted by experience, not by mods and such. It being used on the tempmap would create excuses for xrayers that where caught and simply came by this topic, it would tempt members into hacking. It being used on towny would be useless, if you skin-mine properly you shouldn't miss diamonds, it will unbalance the economy, it will create excuses for older players or even new ones if they hack thus creating a temptation. It being poorly coded can create security breaches on the server, and believe me we have enough as it is. |

You might as well just ask if xray is frowned upon, this is primarily the same thing. If you have troubles getting diamonds than in my opinion you're just plain lazy. It's so awfully easy to just make a strip mine from layers 5-13/14, just don't have a attention-span of a 5 year old and you'll get some. |
